The show, which is held each year at the London Olympia Exhibition Centre “is vital and an integral part of our business which allows us a great platform to work from at the beginning of the year. We continue to find that many timeshare owners including the Marriott Vacation Club, are not aware of timeshare resellers and don’t know that there are resale and rental options available to them. It’s so important for us to attend this show each year to help educate the owners on how to utilise their ownerships,” says Operations Manager, Sarah Bond when asked on the success of this year's show. “It also gives our staff the chance to engage with owners and to increase their product knowledge.”
Furthermore, figures just released from the event organizers, Clarion Events showed an increase in visitors to the show by nearly 50% to just over 50,000 people in 2018, again another reason why the Travel and Leisure Group feel it is vital to have a presence at this show.
Travel and Leisure Group also changed the location of their stand for this year's show as they acknowledged the need to have a more prominent impact on attendees in the heart of the action. This proved to be a great success and absolutely the correct decision for them as they had more visitors to their stand than ever before. The stand was designed to have maximum visual impact, and the information boards explained the options available to owners and how they could best help them. Guests to their stand this year also included the Chief Executive of the RDO (Resort Development Organisation) Paul Gardner Bougaard, who came along and chatted with the staff.
Travel and Leisure Group’s dedicated stand used both visual imagery and information boards to clearly outline their services. Timeshare owners and non timeshare owners could easily ascertain the services on offer before even stepping into the stand. Travel and Leisure Group’s experienced staff were on hand to sit down with owners and talk them through their options. They also supplied information packs to take away so that owners can take their time to read through their options and then contact them at their leisure.
A specially designed client stock brochure was produced which was packed with properties and company information. Furthermore, it includes details of the yearly special exhibition prize draw, which is open to anyone who comes to the stand and takes a brochure.
This prize draw, which attracted over 750 entries is a big “Thank you!” from the Travel and Leisure Group to anyone who takes the time to visit.
This year, their prize is better than ever: a week at Thurnham Hall Estate in the Lake District. The draw for this will take place on 1st December 2018. Make sure to keep hold of your brochure, and look out on their website for the winning number in December.
