JERSEY CITY, NJ, August 13, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Satyadhar Joshi was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Social Impact Leader of the Year category in The 23rd Annual International Business Awards® (IBAs).
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. The 2026 IBAs received entries from organizations in 82 nations and territories. Winners will be celebrated during a gala event at the Pullman Paris Montparnasse on Wednesday, October 28. More than 3,400 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Company of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Startup of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others.
Joshi’s work focuses on making AI research and educational resources accessible to policymakers, educators, workforce-development professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders. His work addresses topics including AI governance, workforce development, AI education, financial risk management, and the potential impact of artificial intelligence on employment.
“This recognition reinforces my belief that research should not remain behind paywalls or be limited to academic or government silos. My goal is to continue developing cross-agency, cross-domain collaboration and practical, freely accessible frameworks and training materials, including online courses, open-access books, and video content, that help governments, educators, organizations, and communities navigate the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence responsibly and inclusively.”
His award nomination highlighted engagement with government and academic institutions, along with publicly available educational resources. Joshi’s educational materials include free online courses and two open-access books covering artificial intelligence, financial risk management, and workforce development. The books are distributed through more than 10 digital platforms, including Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and OverDrive.
The Bronze Stevie® Award follows other recognition received by Joshi in 2025 and 2026. In November 2025, he received a Silver Globee® Award for Impact for work related to AI integration in education and workforce policy. In April 2026, he was named a TITAN Business Award winner in the Training category for a video-based workforce training initiative supported by research and educational content.
Stevie Awards judges evaluated the nomination based on the scope and impact of Joshi’s work, including its accessibility to audiences beyond traditional academic settings. Judges noted the public-facing nature of his research and its potential value to policymakers, educators, and government institutions.
Stevie Award nominations were evaluated by more than 200 business professionals worldwide serving on specialized judging committees. Winners were determined based on the judges’ average scores during the independent judging process.
“The 2026 International Business Awards winners represent the very best in business achievement from organizations of all sizes and across virtually every industry,” said Stevie Awards President Maggie Miller. “This year’s winners have demonstrated exceptional innovation, leadership, resilience, and results in a highly competitive global field.”
