Amarist Studio presents Welcome, a collection of solidarity jewelry made with razor wire, sparking awareness on war-displaced people.

The pieces are handmade in Barcelona; cutting small fragments from the same model of razor wire that is installed on border fences (Concertina Bto nº22) its spikes are then polished to make them useless, and finally plated in 24-Karat Gold to be reconverted into solidarity pins, bracelets, and necklaces.

With the Welcome Collection, the designers Clara Campo and Arán Lozano, aim to change the meaning of razor wire, transforming its spikes into a symbol of respect and human dignity. All proceeds are donated to the United Nations Refugee Agency UNHCR. Demonstrating how Art can help change concepts, transcending theory to become a catalyst for social change.

The Welcome Collection consists of cufflinks, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, with prices ranging from €24.90 to €69.90, available through the website www.welcomemovement.org

The Welcome Collection is made from Concertina nº22, the same razor wire installed on international borders. The razor wire is hand cut into small fragments. The spikes are then polished to make them useless.
